Lightweight (Medics & Recon)

The RedMor RM-235W Lightweight Laser Rifle is the standard issue weapon for the Corps medical and reconaissance troops. It's light weight and robustness is ideal for the lighter classes of troops with less need for heavy battlefield firepower. It fires a concentrated beam of energy that is capable of melting metal, and so armour is of no use as a defence. However, the drain on the cell packs is such that it uses them up very quickly and consequently the gun is rarely used in an overtly offensive way and is usually deployed more a way to keep enemies at bay.

Standard Weight (Infantry)

Range : 2 | Damage : 3(SR), 10(TRB), 50(FA) | 30 round clips
The RedMor RM-46-9 9mm Assault Rifle is the standard issue weapon for the Corps infantry. It can be fired on one of three settings - Single Round (SR), Three Round Burst (TRB) and Full Auto (FA). It fires an explosive round capable of punching through most known arnour types, including the chitinous shells of the bugs. An excellent all round weapon.

Range : 1 | Damage : 20 | 5 round clips
The RedMor RM-12-12 shotgun is the weapon of choice for short range stopping power. It takes clips of 5 shells, each of which provides a wide scatter of high velocity shot. Each shot pellet also contains an explosive charge and a digital fuse which is controlled by a laser rangefinder in the shotgun itself to detonate in and around the target. This makes the RM-12-12 a potent weapon in urban areas or other close terrain.
